Man I miss motorbikes and scooters. I think I made this after I bought a motorbike, a 150cc 4 stroke air-cooled retro scrambler fella that was deadly for off-roading and all (and dealing with the general "Roads" on the island). But I even miss the little 125 scooters. There's something about seeing things from a bike compared to a car. It's like your in it more or something.
M. Prisig put it like this in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance:
“In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame.

On a cycle the frame is gone. You're completely in contact with it all. You're in the scene, not just watching it anymore, and the sense of presence is overwhelming.”
